The collectors heat the solar water up to approx. 65 - 70°C and flow at the upper collector outlet via two heat exchangers back into the drain-back tank. The water cycle (also called heating circuit) is now active and the heat is transferred from the heat exchangers to the pool water. This non-pressurized circulation takes place during the day until the desired temperature of e.g. 30°C is reached.
This simple and maintenance-free drain-back system works not only here in southern Spain, but everywhere! If you live in an area with frost formation, the drain-back system must be drained and deactivated
